User Data Deletion

USER DATA DELETION REQUEST

1. Your Right to Deletion

Payfaci respects your right to control the personal data we hold about you. In line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws (including GDPR Article 17 and the CCPA right to delete), you may request that we delete the personal information associated with your Payfaci account at any time.

2. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, send an email to support@payfaci.com from the email address associated with your Payfaci account, including the following:

  • The subject line: "Account and Data Deletion Request"
  • The email address registered to your account
  • A short statement confirming you want your data deleted (e.g. "I request deletion of all personal data Payfaci holds about me.")

For security, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request — typically by replying from the registered email or confirming account details only the account holder would know.

3. What We Delete

On approval, we permanently delete or irreversibly anonymise the following:

  • Your account profile (name, email, phone, address)
  • Any connected social-platform identifiers (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok handles)
  • Your usage history, preferences, and stored content
  • Tokens and credentials granted to third-party integrations
  • Marketing and communications records associated with your account

4. What We May Retain

We may keep limited information where retention is required by law, necessary to resolve disputes, or necessary for fraud prevention. This typically includes:

  • Financial transaction records (kept for the period required by tax and accounting law)
  • Records connected to an open or potential legal claim or regulatory investigation
  • Anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot be linked back to you

Retained records are stored securely and used only for the limited purposes above.

5. Processing Timeline

We acknowledge deletion requests within 5 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is permitted by law (for example, where additional time is needed to verify identity or to comply with a legal obligation). We will confirm completion by email.

6. Third-Party Data

If you connected your Payfaci account to third-party services (such as Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms via OAuth), revoking Payfaci's access from within that third party's settings is also recommended. Our deletion removes the tokens and identifiers we hold; it does not delete the underlying account on the third-party service.
